As a music lover, I’m constantly acquiring new material, either through physical media (CD’s) or (legal) mp3 downloads.

I’m a tad obsessive compulsive that way, I suppose. This lends itself to a tricky issue - not having enough time or being in the right mood to actually enjoy what I forked out the cash for.

A few of my more recent purchases that I’ve either ignored completely or only listened to about 3 tracks off of:

1. PJ Harvey - White Chalk
2. Riverside - Rapid Eye Movement
3. Donnie Darko Soundtrack
4. Flogging Molly - Float
5. Eels - Useless Trinkets (I’ve heard about half the tracks from a previous b-sides collection, though)
6. Nine Inch Nails - With Teeth, Year Zero, and Ghosts I-IV

I think most television programs are utter garbage, but for the past ten weeks, I’ve been digging on a little show out of Canada called jPOD. Unfortunately, the bastards at the CBC decided to cancel the show. There’s now a fan-led movement to get the CBC to reconsider their decision. I just caught episode 10 this afternoon, and ho-lee shit. Talk about going out with a bang.

Since this is the first post I’m making using WordPress, I’m going to summarize my feelings on the upcoming presidential election as such:
